Dr. Walker A. Felix MD
With over 37 years of medical experience, Dr. Walker A. Felix is a dedicated and compassionate physician specializing in General Surgery and Family Practice. A native of Brazil, Dr. Felix earned his medical degree in 1988 and began his career as a general surgeon. In 1994, he relocated to the United States to expand his training in both Family Medicine and General Surgery.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Felix has served not only as a clinician but also as an educator. He has held associate professor roles at two U.S. medical schools, where he instructed students in clinical practice and medical simulation. His training in simulation-based education was completed at the esteemed Center for Medical Simulation (CMS) at Harvard University.
Dr. Felix has also committed significant time to global humanitarian efforts, offering medical care in underserved regions of Africa, Nepal, the Philippines, and beyond. Currently, he practices in both Emergency Medicine and General Practice, bringing decades of experience and cultural understanding to his patients.
Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, Dr. Felix bridges language and cultural gaps in healthcare with ease. Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling, listening to classical music, and continuing his passion for humanitarian work.
Dr. Felix has been happily married for 25 years and is the proud father of one child.
Sara Romero, RN BSN
A proud Coachella Valley native, Sara is a Registered Nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Oral Roberts University. With over a decade of experience in acute care, she has specialized in high-intensity settings including the ICU and Emergency Room, where she developed a deep understanding of critical care and patient advocacy.
After 10 years at the bedside, Sara transitioned her focus to holistic and preventive care, driven by a passion to support wellness before illness. She believes true healing encompasses mind, body, and spirit, and is dedicated to guiding others through integrative, whole-person wellness.
When she’s not serving her community, you’ll find her enjoying life with her two boys, soaking in the beauty of the desert and continuing her journey in holistic wellness.

Hi, I’m Franco — a Registered Nurse with over 10 years of experience in healthcare and the founder of DSRT DRIP IV CLUB.
After working in fast-paced hospital environments, I saw the powerful impact that personalized, proactive care could have on how people feel day to day. That inspired me to bring high-quality IV hydration therapy out of the clinical setting — and into the comfort of homes, resorts, and wellness spaces here in the desert.
My goal is simple: to help people feel better, faster — with real care, calm energy, and professional expertise. Whether you’re recovering from travel, treating a migraine, or just need a reset, I’m here to make sure your IV experience is safe, smooth, and tailored to your body’s needs.
The Coachella Valley is home, and I love serving this incredible community with care that goes beyond the drip.
